These terms apply to this website and to the introduction and scheduling service Builders2U provides. They are under review by counsel and will be updated.
What this agreement covers
By using this site you agree to these terms. They cover your use of the site and the matching service. They are not a construction contract, and they do not set the price, scope, schedule, warranty, or cancellation terms of any work at your property. Those come from your agreement with the contractor.
What we are
Builders2U is a lead generation and appointment setting service. We are not a licensed contractor, we do not perform construction work, we do not price projects, and we do not quote on a contractor's behalf.
Your agreement is with the contractor
Any work at your property is performed under a contract between you and an independent licensed contractor. That contractor is the contracting party and the contractor of record, and is solely responsible for the work, the pricing, the licensing, the permits, the insurance, and the warranty. Builders2U is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee the contractor's work.
Builders2U does not collect, hold, escrow, receive, control, or disburse funds for your project. You pay the contractor directly under your agreement with them.
Submitting a request
Submitting the form is a request for a consultation. It does not create a contract for work, does not obligate you to buy anything, and does not obligate any contractor to accept the project. We may be unable to match you if no licensed contractor in our network serves your address; if so, we will tell you.
You agree that the details you give us are accurate, that the property is yours or that you are authorised to request work on it, and that the phone number and email address you enter are yours to give.
Contact permission
When you tick the consent box, you agree that Builders2U and the matched contractor may contact you about your request at the number and address you provided, including by automated call or text. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw permission at any time — see our privacy notice.
Using the site
Please do not submit anyone else's details, submit requests you do not intend, attempt to interfere with the site or its security, or scrape or copy it for a competing service. We may decline or remove a request and may restrict access to the site.
The information on this site
Descriptions of trades, service areas, and what a consultation covers are general information, not offers, quotes, or promises about a particular property. Availability and coverage change. Nothing on this site is a price.
Our content
The site, its text, and its branding belong to Builders2U. You may use the site for the purpose of requesting a consultation.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after we do means the updated terms apply. See also how it works.
